PLEASE BRING: scissors, color bowl, color brush, clips, combs, brush, straightener, etc. Bring a mannequin stand as well. A Mannequin will be provided for you! I will be emailing you later if you will need to bring anything else! I will be providing ALL color and foils FOR YOU!) Be sure to wear comfy shoes too!
The creation of this class came from a LOT of pain and a LOT of hard pills to swallow. If you have been following me for more then a year you witnessed how this call came to pass.
I took, what I thought was a permanent retirement from the beauty industry. I was sick of being sick. I was sick of the toxic people. I was sick of the hypocrisy and the never ending tension.
After my "leave of absence". I started a new trade in Clinical Herbology and Nutrition! It's while i've been in school for this that I finally realized whats wrong with the beauty industry. IT'S NOT THE PEOPLE! IT'S THE PRODUCTS! The pro beauty industry sells us products that produce beautiful results, at the cost of OUR HEALTH!
Have you ever wondered, what if stylist's aren't actually stressed riddled, high strung, manic, crazy people?! Maybe, just maybe, they're being poisoned, day in and day out?!
In this class, I will be doing two things for you! First, we're going to go over Color Corrections. How to handle them in consultations. How to price them appropriately. How to break them down into the correct steps for your client so you two will be on the same page throughout the whole process! I'll even show you a few of my go too color placements that are simple and bring BIG impact!
Next we will be learning about ingredients. We will breakdown some of the Pro Beauty industry's top products, explaining what the ingredients are, why they're used, where they come from, and WHY THEY'RE MAKING YOU SICK, DEPRESSED, AND HAVE CHRONIC PAIN!
I have a firm belief that the term "Pain is Beauty" is the biggest scam and lie of our industry. Beauty is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL! A beautiful, healthy, peaceful, experience and way of life! Just because something is "professional", DOES NOT mean it's better or better for you!
