The Schenectady County League of Women Voters is joining organizers for a national day of action at a Hands Off rally on the steps of Schenectady City Hall on Saturday, April 5th at 2 PM . At the rally, they'll pass out giant "hand signs" for people to wave around while chanting "Hands Off education, veterans care, postal service ... (it's such a long list)". They'll also bring markers and gently used lawn signs that they've painted with white paint- and invite participants to make their own lawn signs to take home and continue the fight to defend our democracy.
If you have any old lawn signs you'd like to donate to the cause, please let me know.
