About this Event
Immerse yourself in the world of pasta! Seattle chef Michela Tartaglia—chef and owner of the much loved Pasta Casalinga in the Pike Place Market and the author of the recent cookbook, Pasta For All Seasons: Dishes that Celebrate the Flavors of Italy and the Bounty of the Pacific Northwest—will gather us in the beautiful Larder schoolhouse to teach us the intricacies of making handcrafted pasta at home. Over the course of the class, she will tutor us on the creation of two different pasta shapes, cicatielli and tagliatelle, as well as offer beautiful pairings for each. We will learn and dine together: The first course will star cicatielli with rapini and Calabrian sausage; in the second, we will enjoy tagliatelle with traditional pomodoro sauce, basil, and pecorino.
