You don't need fancy equipment to make delicious fresh pasta. Join this class to learn how to make fresh dough, hand cut noodles and other shapes, and create a seasonal sauce for the perfect pasta pairing.
Pasta is a staple at PLAYTE Kitchen because it's fun, a little messy, and easier than you think. Let’s be honest, we also love eating it! In this class, we'll focus on dough preparation and pasta shaping techniques culminating in a deliciously necessary noodle experience. Roll up your sleeves and prepare to get ready to make lots of pasta, like tagliatelle, cavatelli, orecchiette, pappardelle, and farfalle. Don’t worry, we'll show you how to dry, store, and keep your fresh pasta to use anytime you want. This class is for foodies of any experience level, especially if you like playing with your food.
On the menu is Fresh Handmade Pasta with Classic Bolognese Sauce made with Fresh Egg Pasta Dough and Ragu Bolognese
PLAYTE Kitchen in-person cooking classes are approximately 3 hours in length (2 hours in the kitchen and an hour to enjoy the food you’ve prepared. All guests will be provided kitchen towels, aprons, a class recipe packet to take home, and plenty of foodie fun along the way. A confirmation email will be sent upon ticket purchase will all the info you’ll need to know prior to arriving for your class.
