Handmade Bookbinding at the Farm

Create your own book in this workshop at 21 Acres in Woodinville!

Choose your own cover papers and learn to bind an unlimited number of sheets into a notebook or sketchbook to gift to a friend or keep for yourself! For this class, we'll use a coptic stitch bind, which has an open spine and allows your sketchbook creation to lay flat. Expand your creativity and take home your unique creation in this 3-hour workshop.

All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own scrapbooking paper for your covers. (If you don't have any, I have plenty). This class is recommended for students 12 and up.

Rebecca Jordan (she/him) is a speculative author and artist telling stories about the natural world and exploring alien ones. Becca has been passionate about books all her life. After working at bookstores, writing books, and even dipping his toes into a bookmaking business, Becca now makes books for fun and loves practicing different binding techniques. RJ is a watercolor artist, illustrator, science writer, and experimenter. In her free time she draws bugs, pets cats, and makes weird stuff. See more and connect @beccaquibbles.
