Handler’s Choice Workshops with Kamal Fernandez.October 2024.
Kamal Fernandez is an internationally renowned dog sports coach, with students competing at
the top level in various dog sports, including Obedience, Agility, Working Trials, IPO, HWTM and many more. His reinforcement-based system of training has seen his own dogs and that of his students, achieve their goals across the globe, in various dog sports.
Kamal's lectures and seminars are in high demand across the world and his systematic layered approach to training, creates a confident well-adjusted family pet and amazing sports dog!
Handler's Choice Workshops
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October
These workshops are suitable for all partnerships, from family pets to sports competitors.
Each workshop can be booked separately. Attendees can book a place on the Saturday, Sunday, or for both days.
On a workshop each partnership will receive two 15 minute slots with Kamal, where they can work on any topic they choose, whether that be pet dog skills or sports related.
In addition, everyone will have the opportunity to watch each other and to learn from the advice given.
Workshops will run from 9.30am until 5pm approximately.
Our venue is Pilning Village Hall which is an indoor venue. There is onsite parking and a public park attached.
Please bear in mind that this is a hall environment. There will be non slip covers on the floor.
There may be the opportunity to work dogs outside, but this is not guaranteed due to weather and ground conditions.
There is space to exercise dogs throughout the day on the public park, but dogs must also be happy to rest in your vehicles as dogs will be working individually.
We have 7 handler places available on each workshop, at a cost of £100 each.
Spectator places are £40 per workshop.
Refreshments will be supplied.
Payment is needed at the time of booking and places are non-refundable.
