About this Event
This is a 3 hour course designed to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the fundamentals of shooting a handgun accurately. This is designed to build on basic skills. Prior to this course you should be knowledgeable in the basic operation of a handgun, how to load/unload a handgun, understand basic handgun grip and stance, and have basic knowledge of firing a handgun. This is a perfect next step for the novice after the course: Introduction to handguns &/or Basic Handgun Instruction. You will review gun safety, gun range rules & etiquette, proper grip & stance, and how to load/unload and make ready for the course of fire. This course will cover handgun basics to include proper grip techniques for better recoil control, proper sight picture alignment, proper stance, proper trigger manipulation, breathing techniques, and allow you to practice firing a handgun at multiple different distances in a safe environment with supervision and instruction.
