Adults need art exploration, too! Join us for our LAST SESSION of the year! Perfect for a date night, girls' night out, or any artist looking to discover pottery. All levels of pottery experience are welcome, from beginner to advanced! During this two-hour session, you will receive 15-20 minutes of instruction that teach you the basics of handbuilding with clay. You are free to create whatever your heart desires (aside from some size restrictions). You will have an instructor available to help you create your pieces.
Each participant will receive:
- 3 lbs of speckled stoneware clay. This is enough to create a cup, bowl, plate, or small sculpture.
- Colored underglaze to add color to your unfired pieces.
- Final glaze: After the first firing, we will add a clear glossy glaze to your piece that will increase its durability and make it food-safe.
**You will not receive your piece at the end of class. Pieces will be ready for pickup at the beginning of December. You will be required to return to the studio to pick up your final piece.**
