Join us at Pot Spot Studio for a fun and intimate combination Wheelthrowing and Handbuilding 6-week course with our experienced instructor and ceramic artist Syd Larcher (@sydlarcherceramics)
Dates & times:
- week 1: Monday February 2 @ 12pm
- week 2: February 9 @ 12pm
- week 3: February 16 @ 12pm
- week 4: February 23 @ 12pm
- week 5: March 2 @ 12pm
- week 6: March 9 at 12pm
Please ensure you are able to make all classes before registering, as we don't offer make-up sessions.
Students can expect to create and take home between 4-6 finished pieces, which will be ready to pick up approximately 2 weeks after the final class.
What to expect during this course:
- Techniques: Centering clay, pulling walls, shaping forms (cups, bowls, vases), pinch pots, coil building, slab building, adding handles/lids, and glazing.
- Duration: 6 weekly sessions, each lasting 2 hours.
- Inclusions: Includes all clay, materials, tools, glazes, firing, and instruction.
