We need your help—over 50 handbags filled with Christmas joy are needed to gift to the Darwin YWCA.Every year, A.R.T Your Life comes together with the local community to fill handbags with love and self-care items for women and children in their Domestic and Family Violence, and Connected Families Programs.

Time: 4.30 - 7.30
We provide yummy snack platters, mineral water, tea, coffee, and juice. Feel free to BYO sparkling wine to enjoy and share and .....

We cannot do this without your help. 50 handbags is a LOT!
If you cannot attend the event please consider donating and we will shop for items for you or we can collect your handbag and handbag fillers from you.
We need:
Stylish handbags in great condition, from trendy backpacks and shoulder bags to beach bags and woven bags.
Self-love handbag fillers can include:
- Skincare, makeup, hair care and treatments
- Brushes, scrunchies and hair clips
- Fashion jewellery, perfume and body sprays
- Wallets, clutches, toiletries, Christmas treats and ornaments
Last year, kind local businesses donated items that helped us create wonderful surprise-filled handbags, including children's books and stress-relief goodies. Let’s make this year even better with your support!
The process:
Over the years, we have found the best way to ensure all handbags are filled similarly is to sort the donated self-love items into piles of similar type and value. We then fill each donated handbag with something from each of these piles.
Can’t make it? No problem! We’re happy to pick up your donations.
Together, let’s gather 50 handbags and fill them with joy and make a difference this Christmas! We look forward to seeing you on 28th.
