About this Event
As an integral part of the Local Skills Improvement Framework, focused on building dynamic and symbiotic relationships between the South Hampshire College Group (SHCG), employers and wider stakeholders, we are hosting the first in a series of Key Opinion Leader Meetings from the Health and Social Care Sector on Wednesday 2nd October, from 1pm – 3.30pm in the restaurant at our Eastleigh College Campus.
The Health and Social Care Sector represents one of the largest employer groups for the Solent economy, representing over 5,000 businesses and organisations, as well as employing over 120,000 people. The aim of the meeting is to discuss opportunities and challenges in this critically important sector and to form a quarterly Industry Advisory Forum to ensure we are collectively developing the appropriate skills and training programmes to equip our current and future employees across the sector.
This meeting will feature feedback from the SHCG community partners whom we have been working with to develop the SHCG Community of Care programme, specifically the Discharge to Assessment (D2A)and Myra app project.
As a key Health and Social Care Service Provider, we welcome your input into this interactive meeting featuring a number of project updates from our Community of Care partners, as a result of our initial meeting. We hope that you will be able to join us.
