Heathcote Showgrounds – corner of Chauncey St and Caldwell St, Heathcote
Gates open 7:30 am, Enter via gate on Chauncey St, upon arrival please check in at the office. Rings start at 9am.

Heights:
• Poles on ground (may be led)
• 20 cm
• 35 cm
• 50 cm
• 65 cm
• 80 cm
• Heights over 80 cm on request
2 rings will be running, and heights will go up every hour (approx.)
Max 5 rounds per horse
Conditions of Entry
• Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCV/PCA rules apply and acceptance of these rules
• PCV Code of Conduct, PCV Alcohol & No smoking Policy applies
• $50 pre-entry fee per horse via event secretary covers gate entry fee and a maximum of 5 rounds (riders may choose to ride less than 5 rounds however the fee remains $50)

• Riders will select their heights on the day
• Proof of membership to PCV, EA or HRCAV will be required for insurance purposes, a $20 day attendance fee is due for riders not covered by listed organizations (or riders can prove personal public liability cover of at least $1,000,000)
• Riders without adequate insurance cover pay $20 for liability only cover for the duration of the event (not personal medical) and complete the day participant waiver. PCV insurance policy specifically states anyone not following PCV rules may be left uninsured
• All riders will require a gear check before riding. The responsibility to ride in the correct competition gear remains with the competitor. If any judge or official discovers a competitor riding with incorrect competition gear, elimination may occur. • Complying helmets must be worn – Australia New Zealand standard AS/NZS 3838 Maked SAI Global Australia New Zealand standard ARB HS 2012 (racing helmets) Marked SAI Global American standard ASTM F1163 Marked SEI or SNELL E2001 British Standard PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) BSI Kitemarked European standard (old) EN1384 No longer permitted as of 1/1/21 European standard (new, interim) VG01.040 (2014-12) This may be abbreviated as ‘VG1’ on the helmet label
• Times and heights may be altered by the organizing committee depending on demand
• The organizing committee or showjumping judge may restrict riders from jumping any further heights if deemed unsafe
• Queries, protests, horse abuse as per the PCV Handbook of By-Laws
• Riders must not be led over jumps (a pole on ground is not counted as a jump) as per PCV Bylaws rules 36.5
• All refunds incur a $10 admin fee, no refunds after closing date
• Neither the Organising Committee of this competition nor the PCV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators, or any other person or property
• No dogs allowed
• No lunging allowed on grounds
• No stallions, colts, rigs, mares with foals at foot or horses/ponies under 4 years of age
• Please note that the surface of the show jumping rings and warm up rings will be on grass
• The organising committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unsuitable conditions
• In the event of an event cancellation all pre entries will be refunded minus a $10 admin fee
• This activity is NOT a competition. Riders must not be led over jumps. A pole is not a jump
• The organising committee may advise riders that they should not jump further heights
