Because of our reliance on power tools, we may have never taken the time to understand how planes work and more importantly how well they can work. The class will cover setting up the plane; sharpening; tuning; and using the plane for edge jointing, planning end grain, and surfacing. For the best experience, we recommend bringing a hand plane of your own, so you can tune it up and get hands on training.
