Hand-Embroidered Sweatshirt Workshop
Get cozy, get creative, and enjoy a treat! This beginner-friendly embroidery workshop is all about self-expression and making a sweatshirt that feels completely you. Registration includes a Crazy Mason milkshake to enjoy during class—because stitching is better with dessert.
In this class, you’ll customize a sweatshirt with a design or word of your choice on the chest, sleeve, or collar. No embroidery experience is needed; this class is designed for total beginners.
What you’ll learn:
- How to place and transfer designs onto a sweatshirt
- Easy, beginner-friendly embroidery stitches for lettering and simple designs
- How to finish your piece and keep stitching at home
What you’ll make:
- A one-of-a-kind, hand-embroidered sweatshirt designed by you
What’s provided:
- A Hanes men's sweatshirt in the size (S–3XL) and color (teal, sage, or light pink) of your choice
- A wide variety of fun designs and words to choose from
- Numerous thread colors to mix and match
- Access to all necessary embroidery tools (needles, hoops, threaders, scissors)
- Step-by-step instruction and support
About the instructor:
This workshop is taught by Jess Giblin, the founder of Green Moon Baby, a Maryland-based embroidery studio known for playful personalization and confidence-building workshops. Jess hand-embroiders every item she sells and has taught sold-out classes across the region. Her workshops are welcoming, fun, and surprisingly addictive.
