Hand building pottery class for homeschoolers ( 8 years and older)

Pottery Class:
In this pottery class, you will learn the basics of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. You will be introduced to the tools and materials necessary to create your unique pieces, such as pinch pots, coil pots, and slab-built forms. You'll also learn how to throw on the pottery wheel, centering the clay, and shaping it into bowls, cups, and other functional objects. By the course of the class, you'll have a better understanding of pottery techniques and have created a few of your handmade pieces.
Class fee: $100 for 4 sessions, which includes 10lbs of clay
