Join CLAYTIVITY’s workshop this November to create your own ceramic mug! In this hand-building class, you’ll learn how to roll out a slab of clay and shape it into a custom mug.
Rosemary Slater will fire your piece to bisque, and you can either have her glaze it for you or attend the 2nd session on November 29 to glaze it yourself. The glazing workshop is a follow-up for those who attended the CLAYTIVITY mug-making workshop. In this session, you’ll learn how to glaze your bisque-fired mug, adding a personal touch with colors and finishes. Rosemary Slater will guide you through the glazing process before firing your piece again.
The bisque firing process takes about a week, and after glazing and the final firing, your mug will be ready for pickup. Rosemary will provide all the details for collection at the workshop.
