RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival is set to showcase glorious gardens, fabulous floral displays and much more.
The RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival brings a celebration of summer colour, gardening inspiration and beautiful blooms to one of the UK’s most iconic palaces in July 2024.
Glorious gardens can be found in the landscape surrounding Hampton Court Palace. With an open theme, the beautiful Show Gardens category allows talented designers to turn unique artistic plans into a feast for the eyes.
Our Get Started Gardens aim to inspire all who are new to gardening. These gardens showcase simple, low cost and achievable ideas using reliable plants that are affordable and easy to look after.
Beautiful British blooms and sustainable floristry are celebrated in the RHS Flower School, which champions independent growers of local, seasonal cut flowers. Heady scent and wonderful colour can be found in the Festival of Roses, where you can discover a new favourite rose variety and drink it all in at the RHS Rose Tea Garden.
The floral fiesta continues in the Floral Marquee, which is filled with beautiful plants and flowers grown by unrivalled nurseries, and taking centre stage is RHS Master Grower 2024.
Get inspired by talks, creative demonstrations and practical workshops on gardening, floristry, cooking, and health and wellbeing – all of this and more can be enjoyed with a line-up that includes experts and celebrities.
For music lovers, talented artists will perform on The Woodland and Sanctuary Stages, filling the air with the sounds of summer.
There are plenty of free activities to keep all the family entertained at the festival, with lots of highlights for children. Get stuck in with hands-on activities and learn new skills to encourage a lifelong appreciation for nature, gardening and the outdoors. From den building to family trails, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
With hundreds of tradestands to choose from, a unique shopping experience can be found at RHS Hampton Court. New blooms can be bought at the Plant Village, fabulous ideas picked up in the Floral Marquee and beautiful gifts and homeware browsed in the Country Living Pavilion where small businesses offer unusual options and indulgent treats.
*Accessing the show from the coach park:
The coach will park in the Hampton Court Green car park; the coach will not be allowed to allow passengers to disembark anywhere other than the designated car park. To reach the showground, passengers have three options:
Walking to the show: it is a 20-25 minute walk that involves using a footbridge across the road outside the palace.
If they prefer not to walk: there is a shuttle bus service to Hampton Court station, from where you can take a ferry to the showground (additional fee involved)
There is a mobility bus service that runs between the Hampton Court Green car park and the entrance to the show for visitors with limited mobility.
