Please attend the annual Hampden Township Memorial Day Service as we remember those who died in defense of our Nation. The keynote address will be given by Major General Jessica Garfola Wright, U.S. Army (Retired). Local resident Kevin Engel will eulogize his Uncle Harold Eckert, Jr. who died in Vietnam. Mechanicsburg VFW Post 6704 will present the Colors and provide the firing party. Major David Childs of The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region will offer prayers. RJ Harris will serve as emcee. Music will be presented by Matt Robinson and an ensemble from Cumberland Valley High School.After the Service, everyone is invited to a hot dog lunch in the Park hosted by the Knights of Columbus of Good Shepherd Parish, Camp Hill.
