About this Event
An evening of exhilarating spoken word at Brighton's longest-running poetry slam hosted by comedian Leanne Shorley.
PLEASE NOTE: This slam will take place at The Seahorse (26 Kings Rd, Brighton BN1 2LN) rather than our regular venue (The Walrus) due to December scheduling conflicts.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
HOW TO SLAM: Get yourself a 'Performer Ticket' and prepare an original poem of 3 minutes or less (no music, no props). Any style, any theme, anything you want! It doesn't have to be memorised and you're more than welcome to read from paper/your phone. We only have 10 slots available, so get in quick!

Please be aware the performance space is in a basement which is only accessible via a flight of stairs. There is space to store wheelchairs / a mobility scooter on the ground floor. Assistance dogs are welcome.
