HAMLET - Nomad Theatre Group presents: William Shakespeare's Hamlet
Nomad Theatre Group presents its first ever production: The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, by William Shakespeare. Join us for a thriller charged with the supernatural and haunted by tragedies past, exploring grief, death, and revenge.
SYNOPSIS
The King of Denmark is dead. Gertrude, Queen of Denmark, remarries suspiciously quickly; and her new husband, the dead king's brother, crowns himself the new king only two months after his brother's death. Hamlet, Prince of Denmark and rightful heir to the throne, comes home from university to mourn his father's death--and is horrified to find his mother, his uncle, and the entire country moving on so fast.
But when the ghost of Hamlet's father tells Hamlet that his death was M**der, not accident, and that the murderer is the ghost's own brother (AKA Hamlet's uncle Claudius, now the sitting King of Denmark), Hamlet must decide who to believe and how he can get his revenge.
