Taking tints of inspiration such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree or Karnivool; they chisel and polish nimbly the contours of a musical and sensorial journey. Born from the ashes of Shuffle, HamaSaari flourishes in a more serene and melancholic fashion. Drifts us on a stormy ritual invoking images as a tide of raindrops, scattering, in a cloudy and dark locution; culminating in a halo of hope.

VELDT VOID [D/Karlsruhe]
VELDT VOID spielen düsteren und melancholischen Hard-Rock. Dazu kommen psychedelische und progressive Einflüsse sowie Doom- und Indie-Elemente. Der aus Finnland stammende Frontmann Martin Nylund transportiert die unausweichliche Dunkelheit des Nordens durch schwermütige Texte und traurig bange Tonfolgen, die die Band bisweilen auch in weiten Klanglandschaften Bahn brechen lässt. Stellenweise könnte man behaupten, dass es auch Melodien voller Hoffnung und Optimismus gibt, doch der Schein trügt. Die Welt von VELDT VOID besteht aus gebrochenen Herzen, verlorenen Träumen und bösen Göttern, die auch auf ihrem Debütalbum Son Of Man die düster melancholische Stimmung vorgeben.
