Halta D. is a high energy Alt-Jazz group, reminiscent of bands like Azymuth, Casiopea and Level 42.Formed by Derby based guitarist, composer and producer Richard Belfitt. The band were put together to bring to life a solo electronic project that began in lockdown which drew from Richard's diverse range of musical influences from Jazz Fusion to Broken Beat, Post-rock to City Pop. This all came together to produce the album "Own Space". The band expands on the album adding elements of improvisation as well as compositions written by Richard for a new album currently in the works. Expect catchy melodies and infectious grooves.
