HALO boogie RETURNS
We are exited to announce that we will once again be hosting a HALO boogie with some high altitude jumping!
We will over a period of 5 days take the plane to 25.000 ft. or 7600+ meter
Requirement:
- Minimum 200 jumps upon the start of the boogie
- Minimum 50 jumps in the last year
The team behind the event will be lead bý the world class skydiver Paul Henry de Baér. Also known as PH.
PH has experience from for example the Everest skydives and a multitude of other expeditions. Among other things he has skydived on all 7 continents including Antartica - all this in only a period of 7 months. 7 skydives, 7 continents, 7 months.
PH will be bringing his team and along with him the brand new HALO2 system designed specifically for skydivers.
There will be options to do multiple jumps during the event, as well as just one.
Requirements for sport jumpers are a minimum of USPA-C license or similar.
We offer tandem skydives during the event! Once in a lifetime opportunity.
There will also be opportunities to set national records. If you are up for the challenge you can for example try and beat Ulf for longest distance and longest freefall with his wingsuit. Ulf are you ready to defend the title?
Prices are per jump and include
- Team travel expenses and salaries
- HALO briefing
- HALO system rental and O2
- HALO rigging by Ground Operators
- HALO Load maastering. One HALO operator per load
- HALO session supervision
If weather is looking bad. The event will be cancelled beforehand and all money returned.
The event starts on Wednesday the 6th of August until Sunday the 10th of August. You are not required to participate all days if you only wish to do one jump. However it is first come, first served regarding dates and jumpers staying the entire event will be prioritised.
During the event there is an option to join the certified HALO operator course. For interests please contact [email protected].

Dear HALO participants
We are flexible with the time slots, so in case of bad weather we will move you to the next day. Do keep in mind that the training and preparation takes time, so we will expect you to be here from the morning each day. When we get closer. We will announce specific times and teams. If the weather is heavily against us, we always have a plan B.
We expect to start of easy, but end up doing 4-5 loads per day. Depending on bookings it might be possible to book extra jumps on the day.
There will be limited activity next to the event, but considering training and preparation for the high altitude loads, you shouldn’t expect a lot of regular jumps on the site.

Speaking of weather – normal rules apply. We should have at least 50% visibility from plane at drop altitude. Wind limits on the ground 25knts. It will however be cold op there. Packing list below, but regarding clothes a good rule of thumb is: First layer thin thermals (for sweat), second layer for isolation (Perhaps a jumpsuit) and third layer as a windbreaker (A thin windstopper/jacket would do)

Weather conditions must be ideal for HALO Session, we will share forecast at D-7 and D-5. At D-3, we will confirm the session, or it will be reported in case of significant bad weather. Temperature at exit point will be between -25 and -40°,

It is advised to make a regular altitude recce jump at the drop zone.

It is possible to practice formation skydiving, freefly and wingsuit if participants have significant experience in their discipline.

Air density at FL250/700m is around 0,38 atmosphere, so about 60% decompression compare to sea level.
Problems due to barometric exchange are amplified by two. It is unadvised to jump if you present flue symptoms.

Packing list:
- Warm clothes. Minimum 3 layers
- Warm skydiving friendly gloves. The guys from HALO2 recommend something like the Oakley Factory pilot gloves.
- Open face helmet (If you do not have a open face helmet, you can borrow from us, but do keep in mind that it will not be possible to attach a camera)
- Ski googles (We have spare ski goggles, but if you have your own it will make coordination a lot easier.
- Skydiving rig and accessories
- Skydiving license
- Skydiving insurance (You will be covered by the Dropzones 3rd party insurance, but we expect you to have your own health insurance that covers skydiving in Denmark)

We have bunkhouse available on site if you need accommodation at the Dropzone. There is room for 24 people in total. In either 4 or 8 people rooms. Please book in advance on [email protected] so we can make sure there is room for you. If you use our bunkhouse you will be provided with all necessary pillow, duvet, bedsheets and towel. The price for bunkhouse is 125 DKK per night.

You can also stay on site in either caravan or tent. Tent is free, but if you need electricity to your caravan it is 50 DKK per day.
Showers are available for free for everybody – located in bunkhouse.

Our on site café will provide simple breakfast after will serve hot food for lunch and dinner. You can bring you own food and store this in the fridge in bunkhouse. However we do not have kitchen facilities to use. We highly recommend that everybody join at least for dinner each day where we will serve a dish of the day and talk about the days past adventures.

Please fill out this form, so we can see what we are dealing with.
