✓ Salzburg is an Austrian city on the German border, overlooking the Eastern Alps. The city is divided by the Salzach River; It overlooks the medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old Town) on its left bank, and the 19th-century Neustadt (New Town) on its right. The birthplace of the famous composer Mozart in the Altstadt is preserved as a museum where his childhood instruments are exhibited.
It is a quaint, cultural and romantic city with plenty of attractions and activities to attract tourists.
