Haunting Titans, hailing from New Haven, CT, the group is known to those across New England as a high-energy band whose sets are equally as captivating as their music. They blend elements of Punk, New Wave, Alternative, Psychedelic Rock, and even Theatre to create their unique sonic identity.
Many bands tote the notion of being made up of distinct ingredients, but with HT, it truly is the case that each member brings something different to the band. Of course, by contrast, where the members overlap in their tastes is just as interesting, and of equal potency. Rather than being ineffective, existing between genres has served to help the band in reaching a broader audience. Their increased range means the listener can experience various emotions, moods, and thoughts through their music. This allows fans to connect to the band on a deeper level.
Darsombra
Described by its creators as specializing in "trans-apocalyptic galaxy rock," Darsombra navigates multiple sonic vistas, from drone-fueled doom and twisty progressive rock to lush, ambient psych-pop. The brainchild of Brian Daniloski (guitar, vocals, effects pedals) and Ann Everton (synthesizer, gong, vocals), the duo began recording and touring around 2005, sharing stages with the likes of Jucifer, Wino, and Thrones, and releasing material via notable underground labels like At a Loss, Public Guilt, and Exile on Mainstream.
