Happy (almost) Spooky Season, Tumwater! Please allow me to invite you to my mayoral candidate's Trunk or Treat (bet you haven't been to that combination before!). Volunteers will have their trunks open and ready to pass out goodies before the ghost stories begin and we cap the night off with a classic, family friendly Halloween movie (a longstanding Brender family tradition). Join the party for a free, fun time; a chance to talk to me about Tumwater or my candidacy; and to enjoy a great holiday evening. Timeline:
4-7 PM, Trunk or Treat
6 PM, opening remarks from Tumwater Mayor Debbie Sullivan and *your* true ghost stories
7 PM, closing remarks and movie
-Special thanks to our host, Lattin's Cider Mill. Please help support local farms with light food and drink available for purchase.
-Tasteful costumes encouraged.
