Looking to meet new people while testing your Halloween knowledge in costume? Then join our unique and very social trivia!
Trivia will begin at 7 p.m., but if you’d like to grab a bite beforehand, please arrive by 6:30 or earlier since this event won’t have seated tables.
This isn’t your typical trivia night where you stay seated with your team. You’ll play solo and move around the bar based on which answer you think is correct. It’s a fun, interactive way to meet lots of new people in one evening. Wondering if that charming witch or wizard is single? Everyone will have name tags showing their relationship status, so you’ll know if it’s safe to flirt.
The event will be held on the second floor, and the host will be easy to spot in a zebra outfit. The trivia portion will last about an hour with short breaks, and after that, everyone is free to mingle. The Light Horse Bar has generously offered a $50 gift card for the trivia winner. May the smartest monster win!
Parking:
There is paid two-hour parking available along and near King Street. If you’d rather not worry about moving your car every couple of hours, you can find free parking about three to four blocks away from King Street in either direction after 5 p.m.
Metro:
Head to the King St–Old Town Metro station (yellow or blue line). The bar is about a 16-minute walk from there, but you can also take the free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes until 11 p.m. The shuttle picks up right in front of the metro station and goes down King Street, where the bar is located.
