Wellesley Runners Halloween Run, with a powerful purpose! We’re inviting everyone to join our Halloween run dressed in any kind of costume
Big effort? Go full vampire, witch, zombie or giant inflatable pumpkin.
Small effort? A pair of fangs, a cape, a spooky headband – it all counts!
It’s all about having fun, showing community spirit… and standing together for a cause that matters
Supporting @ThisGirlCan – #LetsLiftTheCurfew
Right now, many women feel unsafe or uncomfortable running after dark.
The #LetsLiftTheCurfew campaign aims to change that narrative by raising awareness of the barriers that stop women from running freely, confidently, and without fear.
We want to send a clear message:
Running should not be restricted by time, gender, or fear.
Everyone deserves to feel safe to move their bodies; morning, afternoon, or evening.
By dressing up and showing up, you’re not just taking part in a fun Halloween run, you’re helping make a statement: this community supports women, celebrates visibility, and stands up for safer streets for all.
So dig out the fake blood, witch hats or glow sticks…
Join us for a night of laughter, empowerment, and togetherness.
Let’s make this the spookiest, and most supportive, run of the year.
Costume optional, solidarity essential.
