In this special CRNZ Fight Day, we will have a Halloween Battle! Bots are encouraged to come in costume (be creative, dress up your bot, we will be allowing a slightly increased weight allowance in this event for costume additions).Before the fights, we'll photograph the bots, and we'll be judging the best costumes (most spooky, most cute, best overall costume, etc).
Additionally we'll be running the event "Trick or Treat" style, so it will be like a round robin, but all matches will be drawn at random!
(Don't worry, this year we'll take measures to try to avoid repeat match-ups!)
Lastly, we'll have some treats for kids (both big and little kids!)

The CRNZ Regularly Scheduled Fight Days are a full day event where we run a double elimination tournament for both Beetle Weight (3lb) and And Weight (150g) Combat Robots at the End Game Arena in Onehunga, Auckland.
NOTE: We will allow 1.5KG for Beetles, and 200g for ants for this event only. This allows some extra weight to add decorations and costumes to the bot, and isn't intended to add extra weaponry or armor.
Spectators are always welcome & encouraged! Please come by and watch the carnage, talk to the teams, and learn about this exciting sport!
Entry is open to anyone who wants to submit a bot, the rules for building and participating can be found on our site at: https://combatrobotics.co.nz/pages/rules-regulations
Entry Fees:
Beetleweight Bot - $30 ($20 for annual club members)
Antweight Bot - $15 ($10 for annual club members)
Fees can be paid at the event at the registration table or shop table either by cash or eftpos/credit.
The CRNZ Shop will also be present for replacement parts or new purchases at the event (either cash or eftpos/credit accepted)
Event Schedule:
10:30am Doors Open
10:45am Bot Rego / Weigh In / Safety
11:30am Fights begin
End time will depend on number of participants, and pit turnaround times, but expected to be 5pm-6pm approx.

The shop is around back, behind unit 69F so you take the laneway next to the Robot Rampage sign, to get around back, then turn to the right and the Robot Rampage Arena is all the way at the end (you'll see the bay doors open, and other people around I'm sure).
