We’re back at Bard & Baker this month for a Halloween themed printmaking workshop! We will be be going through the whole process from start to finish, with a provided 4x6” ezcut block.
A set of carving tools, a block to carve, and all printing materials are provided with ticket purchase. The tools and block are yours to keep and reuse!
Weve also included a discounted drink ticket with event ticket purchase, which may be used during your class time.

Opal Hexen is a local printmaker and professional rock flipper over-er. They focus on critters, skulls, bones, and mushrooms. They can usually be found in the woods, or studio. Their work can be found at Opalhexen.com, and in downtown Troy NY at the farmers market, and at local shop Nerdy By Nature.
Rainier is a multimedia artist and natural illustrator based out of Rensselaer NY. Their body of work ranges from digital drawings to block prints, and centers on accurate watercolor compositions depicting local and underrepresented wildlife. Rainier recently won a grant for public art installation for their Hudson River Ecosystem illustration, and will be joining Arlene's Art Supply as an Artist in Residence starting in October 2024.
