Join us on Wednesday, October 29th, from 5:30 - 8:30 PM for a Halloween-themed photo mixer at FD Photo Studios Astoria—a night of eerie aesthetics, spooky snapshots, and creative connection.
Shoot your costume before celebrating Halloween weekend in a creative studio space designed for connection and collaboration. Whether you're building a portfolio, testing out a costume concept, just having fun during spooky season, you’ll be surrounded by fellow creatives.
For just $20, you’ll gain access to three atmospheric photo studios perfect for capturing your macabre moments.
Open to all creatives: photographers, videographers, models, actors, HMUAs, dancers, brands, writers, designers, stylists, producers, and beyond. If you need content or have been meaning to book a studio, this is your moment.
Studio Setup: While this is a Halloween-themed event, please note that the studios will not be fully decorated with Halloween props or set dressing. We’ll have fog machines available to add extra atmosphere and some props and great backdrops to bring your haunting visions to life, but the sets are not pre-decorated. Feel free to bring props and accessories! Hard-to-clean or potentially damaging materials like fake blood, paint, glitter, or liquids cannot be used in the studios.
All weapons brought to the event must be prop weapons. Real or functional weapons are strictly prohibited. Event staff reserve the right to inspect and confiscated any weapon, prop, or accessory deemed a safety hazard at check-in or during the event.
Please note: While the studios are provided, models are not. Photographers are encouraged to bring a model to shoot with—or meet someone new and create something spontaneous.
This is a collaborative mixer. By default, everyone can both photograph and be photographed unless they opt out. Respect all boundaries.
Everyone attending must have a ticket to enter including models.
