The City of Victoria, Detar, Jag Metals LLC, and Townsquare Media is hosting an event for all ages. Little ones can line up for safe trick-or-treating, the big kids can test their bravery in the haunted house, and parents get a front-row seat to some of the funniest, creepiest, and most creative looks in the costume contest. Thanks to our friends at Spark Light for bringing this fun costume contest. The haunted house will be set up inside the Community Center and promises plenty of scary fun scenes spread across the annex, but don’t worry, there’s nothing too over the top for younger kids. Inside the Dome there will be booths with local vendors who will be stocked up with goodies.
This is a chance that lets everyone grab candy without the stress of going door-to-door. Think of it as one big, family-sized block party, just with ghosts, goblins, and a lot more sugar. If you would like to volunteer, please call 573-0777.
