Prizes for Costumes, Groups, Floats
The route will start at the fire department, go up 2nd, on Market then First Street, then Main Street, down 3rd then and back up Market Street. Finish back at the firehall for prizes and hotdogs
The parade is October 30th and we would like to have floats, lots of floats. So here are the rules and regulations of having a float:
- Float must be built on a trailer at least 12 feet in length
- The Float must have some design and group must actually build a structure on the trailer
- The float needs to have more than just words on skirting and people standing on a trailer
-Skirting is NOT required by highly suggested
-Moving parts, sound, smoke, etc. are all encouraged
-Encourage your group to dress in theme and walk in front or behind your float
-Float can NOT be taller that 16 feet
Now the good part PRIZE MONEY!
FIRST PLACE - $100
SECOND PLACE - $50
THIRD PLACE - $25
