Join Norwalk’s ultimate fall street festival as Washington Street is transformed into a spellbinding, family-friendly Halloween extravaganza. From afternoon through night, the Nightfair delivers a full schedule of seasonal fun, entertainment, and surprises for all ages.
By Daytime:
- Kick off the fun with pumpkin painting sponsored by Wegmans
- Take part in the Trick-or-Treat Trail, collecting candy from participating spots along the route
- Browse unique, spooky-themed booths and artisan vendors: candles, jewelry, décor, novelties and more
- Visit the Costumed Goat Petting Tent by Got Your Goat — maybe even spot a baby goat in costume for the perfect fall photo op
- Play seasonal games in Goblin Grove, get your face painted, and enjoy a festive, immersive atmosphere all around
- Keep an eye out for roaming characters like the Sanderson Sisters and nimble spooky stilt walkers
After Dark:
- As twilight falls, Washington Street will glow with lights and fun décor for the most exciting nighttime photo ops
- Dance the night away to live music by For Legal Reasons, Juicebox, and Similar Kind
- A DJ will keep things lively with upbeat, dance vibes between sets
- Food trucks and savory treats will keep you fueled while over 40+ eclectic vendors serve up seasonal snacks, gifts, and curiosities

The Spirit Garden
Located in a prime spot right by the stage, the Spirit Garden will feature a variety of beer, wine, cider, and other cans of goodness, along with local spirits from Fifth State Distillery. It’s the perfect place to sip, mingle, and take in the live music and street festival energy.
Admission is free for all attendees
The event is wheelchair accessible, with ADA portable restrooms available
Pets are allowed (with restrictions)
Realistic or sharp costume weapons are not permitted.
In the case of lightning or serious downpour, the event will be canceled for safety; otherwise, the show goes on
