About this Event
Please note, this workshop includes two sessions - the first for sculpting, the second for glazing. These sessions will run on Sunday 5th October from 10am to 12pm, and on Sunday 12th October from 10am to 12pm.
In this class you will learn basic handbuilding and carving techniques to make your very own scary monster Halloween lantern that you can sit in your window or on your doorstep with a tealight in it. In the first class you will make your sculptural spooky lantern and glaze it in the second class, before it goes in to the kiln for its final firing. Lanterns will be ready to take home on Sunday 19th of October in plenty of time for Halloween!
This workshop is suitable for ages 10-16.
The previous ceramic classes we have run have all sold out instantly, so please book quickly to secure your space!
ACCESIBILITY OF VENUE- Please note the workshop space is up one set of stairs, if accesibility is an issue, please get in touch and email [email protected] as we can host the workshop downstairs in our shop Make instead, we will just need a days notice to get the space set up for it.
