The legend of the fiery ghost ship of the Northumberland Strait will highlight a Halloween Lunch & Learn by Shelley LeFresne of Tatamagouche just in time for spooky season.
Stories about the ghost ship date back at least 200 years. The ship is often described as a beautiful three- or four-masted schooner whose pure white sails become engulfed in flames before the vessel suddenly disappears.
A St. Elmo's Fire phenomenon or something unexplainable? Come hear the tale and decide for yourself.
