🎃 Halloween In Uptown – Presented by Veridian Credit Union 🎃Uptown Ankeny’s beloved Trunk-Or-Treat is back! Enjoy four full blocks of trunk-or-treating, then stick around for more Halloween frights and delights. Groove to spooky tunes from DJ Big Lare, strut your stuff in our costume contest, ride the Uptown Express, and discover even more bewitching surprises throughout the night.
Costume Contest
Think you have the best look in town? Enter to win in one of three categories: Best Single Costume, Best Group Costume, and Best Handmade Costume. Sign up from 4–6pm on the Uptown Ankeny Association’s front lawn (601 SW 3rd Street). Judging begins at 6:30pm, with prizes awarded at 7pm—must be present to win!

🚂 Ride the Uptown Express – $2 (cash or Venmo); board on SW 3rd west of RynoVelo

Parking
Free parking is available throughout Uptown and surrounding residential areas. Ankeny First United Methodist Church (access from SW Cherry or SW Walnut Streets, just south of W 1st Street) will be open for public parking that night.
