Halloween in La Mesa Village

The La Mesa Village Association will host its 7th Annual Halloween in La Mesa Village Trick-or-Treating Event. It will be a spooktacular event as the downtown Village gets into the Halloween spirit by handing out treats to our community. This is a free, family-friendly event for all to enjoy - no tickets necessary!

Dress up in costume and trick-or-treat at participating businesses along La Mesa Blvd. between Grant Ave. - Acacia Ave. and adjacent streets (both sides of Spring St.). Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bag to collect all those goodies!

*Halloween-themed Stilt Walkers - spot fun-themed characters walking up and down La Mesa Blvd. for a frightfully fun selfie - both sides of Spring Street!
*Halloween-themed Organ Concert at the La Mesa First United Methodist Church, located at 4690 Palm Ave./La Mesa Blvd. Their organist will play a "spooky" variety of Halloween tunes you're sure to enjoy beginning at 4:30 pm!
*Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest - check in begins at 5 pm, judging starts at 5:30 pm (see below for more info)
*DJ - playing fun Halloween-themed tunes near the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station from 4 - 5:30 pm.
*Balloon Artist will be set up near the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station from 4 - 6 pm.

Dress up your pet for a fun Halloween costume contest!

WHAT: Dress up your pet(s) and enter them into one of the following categories at the event - "Spookiest", "Cutest", or "Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo". There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. We'll have a DJ and an on-site vendor sharing treats for the pets from our local La Mesa Village Farmers Market!

WHEN: Check-in begins at 5 pm. Judging begins at 5:30 pm.

WHERE: It all takes place at the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station.
