Home to many ghosts, Dudley Castle is now regarded as perhaps one of the most haunted locations in the Midlands or even the world itself. The history of this very haunted Castle dates back to Domesday era of 1086. Dudley Castle itself sits within 40 acres of ground which is also the home of Dudley Zoo and gardens. The Dudley Zoological Society was founded in 1935 and the gardens themselves opened to the public in 1937.
