DRESSAGE 10.am start
Class 1: MRC Lead Rein Test 2020
Riders 4 - 8yrs old. Ponies under 12.2.
Combinations may not compete in Class 2.
Lead-rein attached to the nose band.
Test can be found on MRC website.
Points will be awarded for fancy dress costume which is
optional
Class 2: Intro B (2009)
Section A
Riders 6 - 12yrs old. Ponies under 14.2.
Lead rein permitted attached to the noseband
Section B
Riders 12 years and over
Points will be awarded for costumes which are optional
Class 3: Prelim 14 (revised 2016)
Open
Points will be awarded for costumes which are optional
Class 4 : PYO Novice 22 (2007) or Novice 34 (2009)

RIDDEN CLASSES
CLASS 5 Ridden Veteran

Open to all horses & ponies 16yo and over (passport may be checked)
CLASS 6 Child’s Pony
Sponsored by Liz Newell-Hart
Open to ponies 14.2hh and under and be suitable for child aged 5-12 years old.
To do a small show – Walk and Trot only required on both reins. To finish with a nice square halt and salute the judge.
To understand and be able to handle pony.
Pony may be led by an adult (18 yrs & over). Snaffle bridles only and lead reins to be attached to nosebands or chains. Not to be judged on conformation but on manners and suitability as a genuine child’s pony.
CLASS 7 Ridden British Native
Open to all registered & unregistered British Native breeds small & large. Required to give a short show of walk, trot & canter on both reins finishing with a nice square halt & salute the Judge.
CLASS 8 Ridden Cobs
Open to all Cob types – hairy legs, flowing manes and tails, to be shown true to type
To do a small show - Walk, Trot and Canter required on both reins.
To finish with a nice square halt and salute the judge.
CLASS 9 Riding Club horse/pony

To be judged on manners and versatility for all Riding Club activities. Required to give a short

All first place competitors from classes 5 – 9 are invited to join this class
