Q: Do I need to bring items to participate?
A: Not at all! You're welcome to browse and take items whether or not you have anything to contribute.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Nothing! This is a completely free community event.
Q: Do I need to be a member of Porch Swing or Buy Nothing?
A: No membership required – everyone in the community is welcome to participate.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: If you're bringing items to share, you can start setting up at 2:30 PM. Otherwise, feel free to arrive anytime between 3:00-5:00 PM.
Q: What if I change my mind about an item?
A: If you change your mind, return items to the original gift-giver. Don't leave unwanted gifts in a new location.
Q: What happens to leftover items?
A: Anyone who brings items is responsible for taking home anything that isn't claimed. Please don't leave items behind – this helps us keep the event sustainable.
