SECRET MOVIE CLUB presents
Part of our PICTURE PARTIES Series, Thursday, October 31, 2024
830pm HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY & SECRET CULT CLASSIC HORROR MOVIE
SPECIAL NOTE: We'll screen a secret cult classic horror movie (don't be fooled by our image, it may be anything but we promise you we have chosen one we think will be a blast) followed by a Halloween party with music, food and drink for purchase, prizes for best costumes, movie nerds, movie community, & more! This party is donation based (with a suggested donation of $25/person or more each person gets 1st drink on us!) to celebrate the official start of our Fall 2024 season.
LOCATION: The Secret Movie Club Theater, 1917 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90021
PARKING: Please note our entrance is NOT on Bay Street. You access our entrance from Wilson Street by turning into the street art alleyway/corridor in the back of the building. Look for our signs which guide you to parking. Audience can park for free in corridor in any space that doesn’t have a street sign or door/stairs/gate. Free parking is also available on Wilson and Bay Streets.
We are finally getting near the official start of our Fall 2024 season. And to celebrate, we're throwing a Halloween costume party and movie screening at the Secret Movie Club Theater.
First up, we screen a carefully selected "Cult classic horror movie". We'll be dropping hints over the next 10 days. So don't be fooled by the initial images. It could be anything. What we can tell you is that we have picked a movie guaranteed to be a bloody, wild, horrific blast. Minds will be blown. You'll slap your face if you've never seen this movie in disbelief. The gates of hell might even be open. . .But whatever the movie, we think you're going to have a great time.
Once the movie wraps, we'll turn on the music, pop open the wine, serve the beers, sodas, coffee, candy, popcorn, and throw a Halloween party in the theater! We'll give out prizes for the best costumes along with other Halloween party games.
This party is donation only so donate whatever you can. For folks able to meet our suggested donation of $25/person or more, the 1st drink is on us!
What better way to celebate Halloween then with a bunch of movie nerds in a movie theater.

REFUNDS: Since tickets are free to this show, there is no refund policy. However, if you know you can’t make it, please release your ticket as there will definitely be other folks who want to come.
HELPFUL SECRET MOVIE CLUB (1917 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, LA, CA 90021) THEATER PARKING TIPS:
We recommend that you park just outside our theater. Remember our theater is actually in a beautiful street art alleyway in the back of the 1917 Bay Street building. You get to our entrance by taking a right on Wilson, then a right behind the building. We are the first set of black steps on the right after the big gate.
There is also a parking lot at the corner of Mateo and Violet Street, just 2 blocks from our theater, which costs $7 per car.
