Get your hands messy and your imagination glowing. In this workshop, you’ll create hauntingly beautiful clay candle holders, just in time to set the spooky mood.
This is a way to:
✨ Explore the magic of hand-building with air-dry clay (no pottery wheel required!)
✨ Design eerie, whimsical, or gothic-inspired candle holders that feel uniquely you
✨ Slow down with a mindful, hands-on activity
If you have never worked with air-dry clay before, you’ll be guided through the basics of shaping, carving, and decorating your clay to bring your ideas to life. Think jack-o’-lantern grins, ghostly silhouettes, cutesy ghosts, or mysterious moon phases, whatever makes your inner witch cackle.
Once dried, your handmade holder will be ready to cast shadows that dance with flickering candlelight*.
Included:
- Clay and all tools needed to sculpt your holder
- Techniques and inspiration for spooky designs
- A relaxed, playful atmosphere to spark your creativity
- BYO Alcohol - Glasses provided
- Complimentary tea or coffee provided
- Snacks are available for purchase too!
No experience needed, just come ready to squish, shape, and summon your spooky side. By the end of the night, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind clay candle holder that’s both functional and fabulously eerie, perfect for setting the mood all season long.
*Due to the nature of air-dry clay, your pieces will need a day or 2 to fully cure. Paints and finishes can most definitely be added after they are dry! For this you are welcome to pop back into the studio again or finish them at home!
