Welcome to our Halloween Party at the Audubon Center at Debs Park! Join us for a spooktacular day filled with Arts & Crafts, Tarot readings, and a thrilling Costume Contest. Get your creative juices flowing and show off your best Halloween costume for a chance to win exciting prizes. Don't miss out on this fun-filled event where you can unleash your inner artist, explore the mystical world of Tarot, and strut your stuff in your most fabulous costume.
Financial Accessibility: The sliding scale allows folks with less privilege to attend, while acknowledging the costs required to host this event. We are using the honor system, so please reserve lower-priced tickets for those who need them. Examples of privilege include being employed, having little to no debt, receiving financial aid (from grants, family, school, etc), owning property, and/or being able to afford a vacation, etc.
Please note the Audubon Center will lock the gates at exactly 4 pm, so please exit on time to respect the center, its staff, and interns. We (the hosts) will start cleaning up around 3:30 p.m. As a guest, you are welcome to stay and mingle, take photos, and enjoy the nature center while we tidy up. But you must exit on time--this means not waiting until the last minute to use the bathroom! We are guests and want to be invited back!
