Join us for a 1k in your BEST Halloween costume. All ages are welcome to run or ride with us, and the BEST costume that participates will win a year's membership for The Rock Statesville or a candy bucket.Our events start at 7 p.m., but you can join us anytime after 6 p.m. to hang out or tour our new facility.
This race is of benefit to the MS Society. People with Multiple Sclerosis fight a battle every day, and we want to help them. Tyrell, one of our owners, has fought a war with MS since 2019 and knows firsthand how difficult life can be.
We chose a 1K run because many with MS have severe and often debilitating mobility problems.
We chose an 18k bike ride because approximately 1.8 million people in the world have been diagnosed with MS.
We chose October because many people with MS have issues with temperatures, whether extreme cold or hot.
We chose to do it in Halloween costumes because it is FUNNY! MS is often not fun and can really get a person down if they let it. We have to find the funny in life.
We ask simply for donations, and 100% will be donated to https://www.nationalmssociety.org/
