Please join La Mar and the Halleck Winery team for an intimate 6-course tasting menu + wine paring on Thursday, August 18th, 7:00 P.M. at La Mar Cebicheria Peruana.
Starter:
- 2020 Sobre Vista Vineyard Chardonnay Cebiche Lujoso, sunchoke leche de tigre, artichokes chips, purple sweet potatoes and micro greens
1st Course:
- 2021 Little Sister Sauvignon Blanc, duo of nigiri criollo,ahi tuna, smoked aji amarillo crema and chalaca: Causa limena, purple potato, crab salad, quail eggs tomato and avocado topped with amarillo cream
- 2021 Calandrelli Vineyard Gewurztraminer, Octopus anticuchero served with locro and queso fresco, Roquita, shrimp croquettes in squid in tempura on homemade pickled nest
Main:
- 2021 Not Your Mother's Dry White Zinfandel King crab ravioli, salsa chupe, quail eggs and spicy chalaca
- 2018 Clone 828 Pinot Noir Pork Cheek in adobo quinoa tamal and pickled onions
Dessert:
- 2018 Haas Vineyard , Peruvian Chocolate cake
Halleck Vineyard was founded in 1993 and is located in the hills of Sebastopol, in western Sonoma County. It is family owned, and one of the highest vineyards in the county. The vineyard has won multiple awards and accolades including being selected as the top 5 vineyards in Sonoma County by the Somm Journal in 2018 and earning the #1 Pinot in the US in 2002 for the first wine from their Estate.
