Community Greening and the Hallandale Beach CRA have teamed up to pass out FREE TREES on Thursday, December 11th at the Hallandale Beach City Hall!This will be a walk-up Free Tree Giveaway, open to Hallandale Beach residents, and will offer options of both native shade trees and fruit trees. Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of three trees per household (1 fruit tree max).
Must be a Hallandale Beach resident to receive a tree!
Species Options:
Native Trees: FL Keys blackbead, royal poinciana, and other species native TBD
Fruit Trees: TBD
All trees come in 3-gallon containers. All trees should be planted in the ground - they will not to thrive in a pot/planter. Trees will come with species information and planting guides.
Species and times subject to change.
Giveaway will be located in the City Hall parking lot between City Hall/Police Department and the Cultural Community Center.
