Join us for a meeting of the Half Moon Silent Book Club! Bring yourself and a book of your choosing ... that's it! There is *no* assigned reading. (Audio books and headphones are welcome.) This event is co-ed and geared towards adults.SCHEDULE:
2:00-2:30pm - Arrive at Shinerville Coffee House, order drink/food, share what you're reading
2:30-3:30pm - Quiet reading hour 🤫
3:30-4:00pm - Book discussion, or just keep reading
4:00 pm - ?: - Move to Mary’s TexMex for food/drinks
There is no fee to attend this event, but please plan to purchase food/drink from the venues so that we may continue to offer this event for free!
VENUES:
The Shinerville Coffee House is the *perfect* place to host this event! There are plenty of tables, chairs, couches, and peaceful nooks to make yourself comfy. The coffee is excellent and the hospitality is unmatched! Thank you to the staff for offering up their space and their time to the community. ❤
Mary’s Tex-Mex is the perfect “after” venue. They offer lots of comfortable seating, excellent service, awesome Tex-Mex fare, and a full bar.
