As winter solstice comes around, move back to times before:
Alcyon’s love was so great, Cyex was reborn;
The wrath of ancient gods allowed them both to be re-formed,
Halcyon the bluest sparkling bird, as kingfisher now is known,
The seas were calmed for solstice nesting of this mighty bird,
The days are short - but seas be calmed to visit us you must,
Its not long now til days of feasting, when gifting is a MUST!
