About this Event
Join us for a Haitian Folkloric dance with Riva Nyri Précil. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this class is perfect for anyone looking to learn about Haitian culture, rhythm, and dance.
Fanm Djanm ("strong woman" in Haitian Kreyol) was founded in 2014 by Paola Mathé as a collection of head wraps. Our store is a space for community gatherings that uplift the work of the BIPOC community.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Haiti through dance!
Wear comfortable clothing that will allow movement. Flowy long skirts or wrap skirts over leggings are encouraged. This dance is typically practiced barefoot.
